He is too good and too mature.

He may lose when up against a superior team but they are supposed to win this one so he will get it done. IMO he deserves it too. He has so many haters and it won't change how he is seen but he is arguably the greatest NBA player to play the game. I think the only one he should've won but didn't was the Dirk year. He was younger and I dont think he makes that mistake again.

Congrats on the championship LeBron!

Good story also for the movement, you have the Kobe death and BLM hero Lebron - no way in hell Lakers lose. You might not like it but atleast make some money playing them

Congrats on the championship LeBron!

He is 3-6 in the finals.

1 of his wins was because Draymond got suspended and the Warriors flat out choked.

1 of his wins was because the Spurs took a 99.8% chance to win and choked with bricked free throws, and then he got saved by Ray Allen.

He very well could and should be 1-8 in the NBA finals and you think he's the best player of all time?

This is how democrats win elections. Lots of idiots out there.

If title hopping existed in the Jordan era, he would have won no less than 10 titles... so the fact of the matter is that Lebron is at a pretty pathetic total considering he jump started the collusion title era.

He’s 1 of the best players of all time by any objective measure.

This happened here, this coulda happened there with small sample results doesn’t change that.

He could’ve not been drafted by the Cavs and had more early team success in his career, who cares.

When you're comparing him to Jordan, which everyone to ever talk about the guy has ever done, of course it matters.

Lebron James joined forces with 2 other top 5 PER players at the time in the NBA in Miami and failed to win 2 out of 4 years.

That's bad.

Imagine putting Jordan with two top 5 PER players from his era. Do they not win a championship? Zero shot.

Those debates don't do much for me, I'm not really a fan of comparing eras in general. I'm actually stunned the media (as well as fans and even people on this site) still love getting mileage out of it. Are they gonna play? Can it be bet on? I'm surprised it has endured for so long. I tend to think when LeBron is done playing people will stop comparing, those "who is the best arguments" don't really work as well when 1 of the guys isn't a current player.

LeBron played great in games 6 and 7 vs the Spurs though, the fact someone else hit a tough shot isn't some sort of negative on that title.

He played great against the Warriors and Draymond missed 1 game in the series, their blowing the series obviously has to do with playing against LeBron.

What do you have to get a sweep for every title to count? This logic applies to no one else but LeBron.

He had plenty of variance go against him in his career, like for instance, being drafted by the Cavs.

Okay, so even if you don't discount the two fortunate wins, he's still 3-6. That's not good.

Jordan was 6-0 for a reason. Killer instinct.

Losing to the Heat in 2011 with the Mavs was bad, that's the main legitimate blemish on his career. The Mavs also swept Kobe-Lakers and beat Durant-Thunder in 5 that year. They faded right after but they were on a hell of a run that year.

By 2014, Wade/Bosh were not the same players as when the team came together. Maybe this was a winnable series anyway, but they weren't 2 top 10 caliber players anymore.

If he was 3-0 instead of 3-6 would that be better? Durant joined the Warriors in '17-18, 2015 Kyrie/Love missed the entire series vs he Warriors, 2007 LeBron was 22 and his supporting cast sucked.

Most of the other great players can't carry teams like the '07 Cavs or '18 Cavs to the finals or didn't lose their top 2 guys like in '15 so they just won't lose finals they can't make.

Lebron is not a top 10 player of all time. I have seen him drive the lane at the end of a playoff game and kick it out for a long jumper too many times. It is one thing if he is passing to someone under the basket. He is soft.

Jordan’s teams 2 to 15 on all 6 of his championships were better teams them any team Lebron James ever played on .

I don’t know how the narrative somehow turned into Jordan was a one man show that carried his team alone to all these titles while James basically played rent an all star team his entire career when the actual truth is the opposite .

Every single team Lebron has ever played on was flawed in a big way including this years team.

Don't act like carrying a bad team to the finals is the same thing as carrying a bad team to the finals in the Eastern Conference in the 07-18 time frame.

The Eastern Conference was garbage. Bulls had like one year where they were very good and injuries killed it. Besides that and the Celtics for a few years, the conference was basically a wasteland.

The actual facts don't back this up.

I went back and looked up one of Jordan's Bulls' rosters that lost to the Pistons and their PER ratings around him were significantly worse than any team Lebron has ever played on.

This debate is old so I'm not going to go back and look it up but look at PER ratings for old Jordan teams and then compare them to what Lebron was playing with. Lebron had more talent even early in Cleveland than Jordan had until Pippen arrived in Chicago.

Nah, I agree with that but the specific years '07 and '18 those teams were especially bad. I doubt someone like say Kobe Bryant or Tim Duncan would be getting those 2 teams to the finals. Although, I can't prove it. The best player from the 3rd best team joining the other best team (Durant to GS) shows that it ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gunas far as player movement either.

And '15 you get to the finals and the other top 2 guys on the team (however overrated as they probably were at the time) get hurt is obviously some run bad.

The guy played forever, it is his 17th year. I don't think he ran good in his career to win a few rings in hotly contested series. He played great and the team won by the slimmest of margins. He had plenty of years/situations where he ran bad.

Getting drafted by Cleveland, injuries to his other guys, Durant going to GS....The sum of all of this is 1 of the best players of all time.

But I agree, I'm not trying to argue him over MJ either. I just don't agree with saying he could be 1-8 in the finals like it is a legitimate slight on him. If he played in the West and only made the finals when he had really good teams then he wouldn't be 3-6, it's just circumstance.

I said Jordan’s teams were better 2 to 15 during his 6 titles then you come in here and talk about bulls teams player ratings on the teams that lost to Detroit . Lol

Oh yeah and Detroit won those series lol

The obvious answer to this is that when Lebron came in the league that the east didn't have any competition for Lebron, like the Pistons were there when Jordan was building up to that point.

Ah, fuck it, Lebron can have his little title. He ruined the NBA with his pussy join superstar culture. Soft league and garbage product now, IMO.
